With the clever slogan, “Women are not a minority, they are the majority,” WOW! (http://www.wow-womenonwriting.com/) presents itself as a global online magazine designed to cater to women who love writing and who do a pretty good job at it.

Its brand name, “Women on Writing” WOW!, sets the stage for the creativity, energy and passion female writers exude through their writing processes. With a unique concept of filling in the missing gap between writing websites and women’s magazines, WOW! assures that it is dedicated to raising the overall standards within the writing community and will devote an active profile within writing industry associations, organizations and websites.

“We envision Wow! being a favorite watering hole for professionals, the up-and-coming, and the recipients of our labors–the avid readers,” site managers wrote on the WOW! site.

Additionally, WOW! allows online viewers to explore a plethora of exciting features and functions including articles, contests, online writing workshops/classes, archives, classifieds and a range of other supporting communication resources.

According to the “about” page on the site, “WOW! is committed to excellence in every way, in our work ethic, in the products and services we provide, and in our relationships with our readers, contributors, freelancers, interviewees, advertisers, and subscribers. We strive to be fair, honest and courteous in all of our dealings.”

An electronic magazine that promotes the communication of women, WOW! supports female authors, editors, publishers and readers of all backgrounds, cultures, beliefs and professions.

All in all, “WOW! hopes to contribute to the love, enjoyment and excitement of producing quality writing–so that the reader in all of us will never want for good material, in any form,” said WOW! officials.
