Ridiculous action movies are the new Hollywood trend and \u201c3 Days to Kill\u201d with Kevin Costner is not the exception.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Costner plays the part of a veteran CIA agent, Ethan Renner, completing his clich\u00e9 \u201clast mission\u201d that would allow him be a better father to his teenage daughter (Hailee Steinfeld).<\/p>\n

He hadn\u2019t had contact with her for the past 10 years after he decided to get a divorce to protect her and his wife (Connie Nielsen) from his dangerous lifestyle.<\/p>\n

But it gets worse! Costner\u2019s mission impossible of course had a mix of \u00a0everything. From hunting down the world\u2019s most terrifying terrorisst, Wolf and Albino, to fighting his way through Paris to find an experimental drug that will cure his brain cancer.<\/p>\n

Yes, brain cancer! And I know you are asking yourself how is he going to fight anyone if he is sick? Wait and see.<\/p>\n

The handler, Vivi Delay (Amber Heard), is the \u201cCharlie\u201d of the mission and the provider of the drug. She injected Costner to give him a boost, and as a \u00a0side effect, it gave him \u201csuper hero high.\u201d Of course this was needed, taking in consideration that Costner is not a young looking fellow. In fact, the stylists even committed the crime of dressing him like a businessman, far from being an action hero.<\/p>\n

Delay is the only exciting character in the movie; her strong and sensual personality gives a hint of spice and excitement. She plays a coldblooded spy in a variety of wigs and provocative costumes that make her a femme fatale<\/em> driving a speed car.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, Costner\u2019s daughter and estranged wife play the overwhelming victims that don\u2019t even produce pity, their characters are so clich\u00e9 and boring is not even worth developing their lack of personality.<\/p>\n

These types of dramas have been played over and over on theaters and, apparently, aren\u2019t going to leave the market. At least audiences know what they are in for, or do they? \u00a0The trailer of \u00a0\u201c3 Days to Kill\u201d showed a much more promising film.<\/p>\n

We all know it\u2019s a tradition for spies to shoot their way through a cities, but using Paris as setting was definitely not the best choice. \u00a0Just think about this, Paris is the city of love isn\u2019t it? And this plot has nothing of true love, its just unidentifiable, we don\u2019t even know if it\u2019s an action movie or a comedy. It is completely incoherent.<\/p>\n

But there is a reason for this. When movie producer Luc Besson, maker of \u201cTaken,\u201d and director Joseph McGinty Nicho, commonly known as McG of \u201cCharlie\u2019s Angels,\u201d came together, \u00a0the product was going to be a monstrous Frankenstein experimental film.<\/p>\n

\u201c3 Days to Kill\u201d is a leftover of their previous movies. They should just be grateful for the existence of the CIA for being the subject of this terrifying movie and thank their editors for a great trailer.<\/p>\n
